On behalf of the Glen Rock Board of Education welcome to the Superintendent's Corner.
Please know that on a daily basis, the district is taking rigorous steps toward achieving its mission of providing all students an exceptional  education and opportunity for personal  development through a comprehensive and  rigorous curriculum, accompanied by co-  curricular activities that foster productive and  responsible members of the global society. Glen  Rock’s public schools rank among the best in  Bergen County and the State of New Jersey.  Walking, or driving through the town center, there  is an almost palpable sense that Glen Rock is a  great place to raise a family.

The Office of the Superintendent of Schools consists of the Chief School Administrator and her administrative assistants, who are responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the district, including all matters relating to personnel and students.

New School Year Begins September 1, 2016 for Teachers
Glen Rock Public Schools will officially welcome back all employees on Thursday, September 1, 2016. Opening Day Convocation will begin at 8 am with a light breakfast in the HS cafeteria followed by an informative keynote session. We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready to begin the good work of educating Glen Rock's youth. Employees are encouraged to check their school email accounts for the superintendent's welcome back package; Glen Rock is "going green!"

Glen Rock District report on testing SY 2014-15
At the Dec. 21 Glen Rock Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Paula Valenti, Director of Student Personnel Services Lawrence Wolff and Director of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Kathleen Regan presented a report on the district's testing performance on PARCC, SAT and ACT for the 2014-15 school year.

Coleman Cafe

Dr. Paula Valenti enjoys sharing lunch and good conversation with fifth grade students at Clara E. Coleman Elementary School during Coleman Cafe. During the event, Principal Dawn Cappadona reminded the students that they represent the class that began this program when they were first graders.
